Pixar's Ratatouille

Last night I went to see the newest Disney/Pixar film, Ratatouille. Of course, this isn't a movie review blog - but I feel like telling my readers that this movie was great. It got everything right, a great story, plenty of humor, wonderful animation, and great characters and character interaction. At times where I thought the plot might drag on this movie easily skipped forward, always moving, keeping me engaged. The plot itself sparked my creativity - I have felt like writing, programming, painting - doing something creative all day long, unfortunately work was in my way. Visually it was definitely on par with all of Pixar's other films, yet it had a very clearly unique style. Most people may never even think about the animation behind the movie, but I was amazed, as I have been with most all of Pixar's work, at how awesome their computer animation really is - it immerses the viewer, brings them into a completely computer generated world and allows them to experience exactly what the movie makers have imagined for them. So, if you want to see a great movie this weekend I definitely suggest Ratatouille - and keep in the back of your mind the amazing technology and skill that went into crafting the experience.

I've been a Pixar fan ever since Toy Story came out and I'm sure their latest work will be another collector's item. Every Pixar movie has always this unique humor, colorful characters, and original storyline. I love their choice of music by the way. I can't wait for it to be shown here in our place.

Hi. As promised, I'm here and I'm leaving a few notes for you.

Pixar does a lot of good animations. Toy story was my favorate. I'll buy a DVD of Ratatouille and check it out myself.
