I am Back From Vacation

I am back from my vacation, thankfully - I was starting to get very homesick and financially strained. That's not to say that I didn't have a great time, the cruise was awesome, and Disney World was fun even though it was tiring. I had almost no connectivity during the trip, and I was starting to go through withdrawals. On the cruise there was Internet available at the astoundingly large price of $1 a minute, with time packages available that would decrease the price - but the cost was still much more than I was willing to pay. Once we left Florida I also lost my cell phone signal, even though they claimed to have cell service with "International roaming charges" in effect, my phone never found a signal. My hotel in Disney World also charged for Internet, at the much more reasonable price of $10 for a 24 hour window - but I wasn't at the hotel enough to justify the cost, even with my cravings to catch up on my email, message boards, and blog postings. I have a few ideas for vacation & technology related posts, but I am also toying with the idea of starting a new travel blog to chronicle this trip, and my future travels, maybe more on that later. For now I am still winding down, unpacking, and trying to get back into the groove of being at home.
