Another Vacation Coming Up Soon

For me, this is a summer of vacations. In May I went on a cruise and to Disney World, and since I survived that trip I am now preparing to go on another. This time I am going to Hawaii, to the "Big Island", with my girlfriend and her family; they make a trip to Hawaii every few years, and I have the pleasure of coming along this time. In a lot of ways I am not ready to leave yet, I am not quite ready financially, and I haven't yet put any thought into the preparations I need to make before leaving home, but I am excited. I may come out of this trip with a small amount of credit card debt, but I am sure it will be worth it; assuming I get a "real job" when I return it won't make much of a difference anyway. We will be gone for two weeks, and in that time I fear I won't have a whole lot of relevant material to post on my blog, but I will try. I believe I will have Internet access while there, and of course I will be bringing my laptop with me, so we'll see how it goes. I may post more off-topic posts than usual, and I will likely take a lot of pictures to share. If anyone out there is interested in making some guest posts to my blog while I am gone, I am open to any kind of technology related posts, just email me with what you are thinking and I will be glad to consider your contribution. You would certainly be credited and your blog would be heavily promoted in the posts. We are leaving on August 5th, just a few weeks away. I have been to Hawaii once before, in 2001, and I am sure this time will be equally as relaxing and fun as it was the first time I went. Has anyone else been the the big island in Hawaii? If so, what did you end up doing there during your visit?
